Rodney Mullen is credited with pioneering the flatground ollie, the kickflip, and a host of other tricks that are now staples of street skating. Mullen began his career as a freestyler, and dominated contests throughout the ‘80s. He left Powell-Peralta, his long-time sponsor, in 1989 after helping Steve Rocco establish World Industries the previous year. In 1992, he joined Plan B, a brand under the World Industries umbrella, and released a street part in The Questionable Video. He has since skated for A-Team, enjoi, and Almost, where he currently has a board.
