Chris Pastras

Chris Pastras, also known as Dune, turned pro for World Industries in 1990, after appearing in Rubbish Heap, the company’s 1989 video. In 1992, Pastras partnered with Jason Lee and launched Blue, a brand that sponsored riders Kareem Campbell and Steven Cales. Though Blue was short-lived, Pastras and Lee followed with the launch of the inconic Stereo, in conjuction with San Francisco’s Deluxe Distribution. In 1999, with sales floundering, the company was shuttered, and Pastras took a job with San Diego-based shoe brand Osiris. In 2003, he and Lee relaunched Stereo, which they continue to operate.
