After leaving Vision, Mark Gonzales formed Blind (get it?) under Steve Rocco’s World Industries umbrella in 1989. The company turned Jason Lee pro and in 1991 released the Spike Jonze-directed Video Days, widely regarded as one of the most influential skate videos of all time. The full-length featured parts from Lee and Gonzales, along with Guy Mariano, Jordan Richter, and Rudy Johnson. Though Gonzales and Lee left the company in 1992, it continues to operate today with a team that includes Sewa Kroetkov, Kevin Romar, Morgan Smith, Filipe Ortiz, TJ Rogers, Yuri Facchini, Sean Sheffey, and Cody McEntire.
